About Maryanne Armstrong 

Maryanne Armstrong offers compassionate and professional mental health support for individuals navigating emotional, psychological, and life challenges. 

 

Maryanne is a Psychotherapist and Addiction Counsellor. She is a graduate member of PSI and pre-accredited with IACP. She has a Bachelors Degree in Counseling Psychology, a Masters Degree in Addiction Studies and a Masters of Science in Pluralistic Counseling and Psychotherapy.

Experience
Maryanne is dedicated and passionate about helping others navigating life's challenges. With a warm and empathetic approach, she provides a safe space for her clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. She has studied various approaches including, but not limited to: CBT, Person centered, Psychodynamic, ACT, DBT, Group therapy, Art therapy, Play therapy and Family systems therapy. She uses a pluralistic approach and draws from various therapeutic approaches and techniques such as: cognitive restructuring, mindfulness techniques, trauma informed care, emotional regulation and relaxation techniques. She celebrates the diversity of individuals and their unique needs and tailors therapy to the individual's preferences and circumstances.
